I’m Jill Devereaux, specializing in emotional regulation support for children, teens, adults, and families. I support clients who feel overwhelmed by big emotions—such as anger that escalates quickly, anxiety spirals, tearfulness or shutdown, irritability, impulsivity, overthinking, and feeling “out of control” in the moment—and guilty afterward. My style is warm, supportive, and strengths-based. In our sessions, we focus on understanding what your emotions are trying to signal, building skills to pause before reacting, and creating steadier patterns for handling stress so you can respond with more intention at home, at work, and in relationships. I believe lasting change happens through a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, respect, and genuine connection. What you can expect in a session with me: a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be honest about what’s been hard, a clear and personalized plan that fits your life and goals, and practical tools you can use between sessions—like ways to cool down faster, communicate needs clearly, and recover after conflict. We’ll work at a pace that feels steady, realistic, and encouraging. My mission is to help clients live better—not just feel better—by increasing emotional resilience and self-trust. Together, we work toward more calm and clarity under pressure, healthier boundaries, and stronger relationships as emotional reactions become easier to manage. I’m especially passionate about helping people move from feeling stuck in cycles of reactivity to feeling more grounded, capable, and connected. Note: I enjoy working with children, adults, and families, and I bring a strong foundation in parenting and family support when emotional intensity impacts the whole household. Whether you’re navigating daily stress, frequent conflict, or big life transitions, I’m here to help you build steadier emotional footing and a more hopeful path forward.
